Casa Massimo

Where Vin Santo Was Once Produced

Located near the chapel on site and the original grand villa, Villa Donati, this villa is on the border between the main estate and the surrounding olive groves.

Once upon a time, this building was actually used to produce Vin Santo (a sweet Tuscan wine, typical to the area). Specifically, when the grapes were ripe, they would be laid down in large sieves to rest, before being pressed into Vin Santo.

Since then it has been renovated into a cosy, stylish villa.

An outdoor, stone staircase leads to the entrance, which opens onto two large connected rooms, dining room and living room with a fireplace. Attached is a small, well-equipped kitchen.

There is 1 double bedroom, 1 twin room and 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and one with a shower).

The garden is private and surrounded by olive trees. It includes an outdoor terraced area for dining under a pergola and some outdoor space for playing, painting or quite simply relaxing with a good glass of local wine.

Here you can relax and enjoy the evening with a romantic view of the Tuscan countryside.
