This cosy farmhouse sleeps 4 and is approximately 80m².
This is one of two adjacent apartments that would have originally been the home for workers on the farm.
The apartment has been renovated, but still maintains the simplicity and cosiness of a Sienese rural home with white walls and earthenware tiled floors.
Both Virginia apartments are on the first floor, as is typical of Tuscan countryside homes. The ground floors were usually dedicated to farm animals, wine cellars and storage.
The outside stairway leads to a narrow balcony where Casa Virginia 1 and 2 are located. Here you will find armchairs made from Willow trees where you can sit back and relax. Peer over the balcony to see the vegetable patch below. We use this to stock our restaurant.
The balcony is south facing and looks out across the cypress trees, olive trees and, beyond, the Tuscan woodland. At sunset, this outdoor area is warmed by the golden rays of a setting sun. The perfect spot of an italian aperitivo: Spritz and salty peanuts.
Inside, the apartment has a large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room, complete with a traditional Tuscan fireplace. It has 1 double bedroom, 1 twin room, each with their own bathroom and shower.
The garden is a long stretch of grass below the balcony, perfect for playing football, volleyball, badminton, and other ball games. There is a pergola area here, equipped for outdoor dining and a barbecue grill.
Stay here to enjoy a cosy apartment, dinner under the pergola and a large, flat green space for playing ball games with the kids, stretching or exercising.
