Villa Donati, also known as “La Fattoria” (The Farm), was the first vilvilla of such size on the property. It was built in the 18th century by the Aldobrandini, an aristocratic family from Rome, and was their family home.
Smart and rustic, this villa has a pleasant touch of nobility, with its high ceilings and large rooms decorated with antique furniture and paintings. The exposed beams give the place a cosy, rustic feel.
On the ground floor, the entrance opens onto an expansive hall. At the end, a back door onto the garden. Left and right doors connecting to a large living room, a kitchen with a fireplace and adjacent dining room, a bathroom with a shower, and 2 twin bedrooms.
A wide stone staircase leads to a mezzanine with 1 double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor, a large living room with an original fireplace, 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin rooms and a short staircase to another bathroom with a bathtub.
The back of the villa has a large garden with fruit trees, grape vines and an amazing view across the valley. The outside area is designed for eating outdoors with a stone table and benches, overhead lighting and deck chairs for relaxing and stargazing.
Stay here to enjoy both the regal house and the beautiful, peaceful countryside.
