This cosy farmhouse sleeps 4 and is approximately 60m².
It is one of two adjacent apartments that would have originally been the home for workers on the farm.
The apartment has been renovated, but still maintains the simplicity and cosiness of a Sienese rural home with whitewashed walls and earthenware tiled floors.
Both Casa Virginia 1 and Casa Virginia 2 are on the first floor, as is typical of Tuscan countryside homes, as the ground floors were usually dedicated to farm animals, wine cellars and storage.
An outdoor stairway leads to a narrow balcony where the apartments are located. Here you will find willow armchairs where you can sit back and relax with a glass of wine. Or peer over the balcony to see our vegetable garden below, which we use to stock our restaurant.
The balcony is south facing and looks out across the cypress trees, olive trees and, beyond, the Tuscan woodland. At sunset, this outdoor area is warmed by the golden rays of the setting sun. The perfect spot of a typical Italian aperitivo: Spritz and salty peanuts.
Inside, the apartment has an open plan kitchen-dining-living room, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower.
The garden is a long stretch of grass just below the balcony, perfect for playing ball games such as football, volleyball, badminton, or just relaxing on lounge chairs in the sun. There is also a leafy pergola covering an outdoor dining space, equipped with table, chairs and barbecue for those warm summer evenings.
Stay here if you are looking for a cosy apartment, dinner under a pergola and a spacious lawn for playing ball games with the kids, exercising or sunbathing.
