Chocolate Salami

Pamper yourself with this scrumptious treat!

A super easy recipe that makes for a deliciously indulgent pick-me-up to brighten these days of never-ending lockdown.

Serves: 6

Preparation and cooking time:


150g dry biscuits (crushed)

125g caster sugar

60g butter (softened and cut into pieces)

60g bitter cocoa (sieved to remove any possible lumps)

3 egg yolks

Dark rum


How to prepare this delicious Chocolate Salami

Whip the egg yolks and sugar together and then mix in the butter.

Add the cocoa, the biscuits and lastly a generous spoonful of rum.

Combine all the ingredients well to create a thick dough.

Roll out the dough on a sheet of aluminium foil in the shape of a salami. Wrap it tightly in the foil before placing it in the fridge overnight

Serve this treat in slices, as you would real salami, dig in and enjoy.
